About tests we had with existing projects so far
  • 200+ Successful events, 1500+ subgroups, 18000+ matches
  • 50% of matches was using judge tablets
  • Parallel 20+ tournaments handling at once with economy server - there was stuff to optimize to keep fast performance
  • Many fixes, for online payment, fine tuning judge tablet interface, tournament group rank calculation, all automatization – after tournament finish, once per week player rank and points recalculated for singles, doubles and mixes separately. Weekly international points import, player rank change indication, head 2 head statistics, judge rotation calculation, judge hours report, financial stuff to provide reports for government about taxes.
  • How system is designed:
    • Divided into modules, and features - with main idea to reuse - prevent for doing same multiple times aswell providing large set of functionality
    • Test system (mirror / duplicate) - designed to update every night with main version, you can do whatever you like to test, all changes will be reset - also used for redirecting large amount of traffic created by Bot - which helps to keep super fast performance on main server.
    • Backup system - gives confidence, fast recovery to Test system makes even more bullet proof
    • Change tracking system - important for multi-user administration - many disputes can closed within short time, can make malfunction detection easy
    • Internationalization – multiple ways to store titles, content in two or any number of languages
    • Import / export – no limitations for extracting data, also clear structure database, it would be open for transfer if this case would be considered at any time.
